Class Description:

Vinyasa Flow: “Vinyasa” emphasizes the connection between movement and breath. This is a rigorous practice with a consistant cardiovascular component.  Poses, sequenced intelligently, are used to unlock the body, calm the mind, and access new physical and spiritual spaces.

Open Yoga: A class designed with a deeper focus on structure and expression. This is a class less focused on the cardiovascular aspects of a “flow.” Don’t get it twisted–  this does not mean “easier” nor does it mean “harder.” Instead, this is  chance to play with a workshop-style approach. A variety of traditions, lineages, drills, and modalities will be utilized.

Power Yoga: Vinyasa coupled with practical strength drills and mini-clinic style explorations are used to achieve strength and balance gains in a progressive and regimented manner.

Yoga for Athletes: A focus on deep passive stretching in key areas for those leading (or who would like to lead) active lives: runners, rowers, cyclists, and every athlete in between can benefit. Less pretzely, some might say.
